Dion Jones is an AI-driven operations strategist with nearly two decades of experience transforming IT enterprise support functions into intelligent, automated, and data-enabled platforms. Currently Manager of ITSM at a major hospitality organization, he accelerated ITSM maturity from 1.9 to 2.7 in under a year and led work protecting over $1.7M in revenue through AI-informed process redesign, including a Known Error Database he designed and deployed enterprise-wide.
Pursuing his MS in Artificial Intelligence at Kennesaw State University, Dion bridges operational rigor and applied AI, building NLP-based incident detection systems, custom AI tools, and AI agents as one of the first cohort in his organization's AI Enthusiast and Data Steward program. He's spoken on enterprise AI adoption at the WSSU AI Summit and brings that same practitioner's lens to every workshop, forum, and use case he builds.
Beyond the technical work, Dion serves as Community Outreach and Program Chair for his organization's B.L.A.C.K. employee resource group, and has guest lectured at DePaul University on Chicago's music scene, drawing on his background as a Chicago rapper and artist. He's hosted a live AI adoption AMA, co-hosted a long-form commentary podcast for nearly a decade, and carries that same voice into the AI education work he does across the boardroom and the community alike.
